The silver grey leader of RedwoodClan was quiet. Her eyes were warm and bright, like the blue Greenleaf skies. She had a calm confidence and held herself with pride. Many would say she looked regal, but Jaystar never saw herself above others in the clan. She was known to be adventurous and stubborn, a combination that led her to
found RedwoodClan, but also hesitant and willing to listen to others opinions. She stood tall on top of the High Stump observing her clan with content. The apprentices watched her in awe and wondered if they could become just like her. 

As a kit Jay was an adventurer. She yearned to explore with her siblings by her side. Confident, curious and understanding she had the natural ability to lead. She, however, let Wren be the leader of their adventures and enjoyed being her right hand man. Less impulsive and more compassionate than Wren, Jay was able to better connect to Juniper. She acted as a moderator between her impulsive sister and timid brother. At the end of the day, however, her longing for adventure made her side with Wren. 

As an apprentice Jaypaw was a quick learner. Quick on her feet and smart she learned new skills with ease. She quickly became popular with her fellow apprentices and kits alike. After Wren’s death she was less impulsive and more hesitant. Her need for adventure was filled for a time, but she was an avid storyteller. Her stories of outside the clan became a favorite of the kits much to the amusement of the elders. Jaypaw loved creating new friends and grew a competitive streak. She and Kestrelpaw went from rivals to close friends in the span of their apprentice moons.
