Kestrelwing is a very straight forward cat. He can be brutally honest and blunt in his approach, but he cares deeply for his friends. A bit socially awkward he doesn't always know when to use a gentler approach and can come on too strong. He is extremely loyal to his clan and friends and is fairly strict about the warrior code. With strangers he is polite but aloof. He values alliances but isn't always eager to make friends. He doesn't fully trust others outside of his clan easily, but if they prove trustworthy Kestrelwing will open up to them if they are persistent. With his friends he loves to joke around and enjoys friendly rivalries. He likes to ensure his friends happiness and will do anything for them.

Kestrelwing's talents lie in his stealth, agility and intelligence. He is smart, lithe and has mastered the ways of moving unseen and unheard. He is average in his speed, strength, focus and defense. NAME MEANING

Jay - a bird of prey, the Common Kestrel.

 

- wing - A cat that is skilled in catching birds.

Kestrelwing was named after the Common Kestrel. His tawny spotted coat resembles the spotted wing on the bird and his fierce nature reinforced his mothers choice, His warrior suffix -wing, was granted to him for his speed and agility in catching birds. 

HISTORY

Kithood
Kestrelkit was born into Spruceclan with three siblings: Emberkit, Leopardkit, and Stonekit. 

Aprrenticehood
Kestrelpaw was trained by Cherrytail. Jaypaw joined the clan later into his apprenticehood. 

Warriorhood
Kestrelwing first year of warrior hood was fairly uneventful. However during his second year twolegs started to invade their territory. They started to capture the clan cats and Kestrelwing got separated in the chaos. His clan was scattered and he was a loner for a little before reconnecting with Jaystar and starting up the clan from scratch under the name Redwoodclan.
